The Hästens Maranga is a continental bed handmade in Köping, Sweden, constructed from 27 layers of natural materials including hand-teased horsetail hair, virgin cotton, wool, flax, and a pocket spring core. Hästens was founded in 1852 by Pehr Adolf Janson and has held the designation of Purveyor to the Swedish Royal Court since 1952, with beds built by hand in the same Köping factory by craftspeople who train for five years before working on the horsehair layers. The Maranga is the entry-level Hästens model. The Supreme FW21 edition replaces the signature blue-check ticking with an all-over box-logo pattern in red and white and retailed for $23,990.

Hästens is a Swedish bed manufacturer founded in 1852 by master saddler Pehr Adolf Janson in Köping, Sweden. The company shifted from saddlery to bed-making in the early 1900s, using horsetail hair, cotton, wool, flax, and Swedish pine in multi-layered, hand-tied constructions. Hästens has held the royal warrant as Purveyor to the Swedish Royal Court since 1952 and remains a sixth-generation family business. Its signature blue-check ticking dates to 1978, and its top model, the Vividus, retails for over $400,000. Supreme's Hästens collaboration drew on the brand's blue-check pattern and bedding line.
