Incense Holder + Sticks
About the original
Kuumba International is a Japanese incense brand established in 1993, producing hand-dipped fragrant incense sticks made from natural charcoal, essential oils, and aromatic resins. The sticks burn for approximately 30 to 40 minutes and come in dozens of signature scents (Pacific, Shiro, and Tropic among the best known) sold in slim branded tubes. The brand has been stocked in streetwear and lifestyle boutiques worldwide since the 1990s and is a fixture in Japanese menswear stores. The SS2009 Supreme collab kit included a branded ceramic incense holder and a pack of Kuumba's signature sticks in a custom scent. It was one of Supreme's earliest home fragrance accessories, priced under $30.
About Kuumba
Kuumba International is a Japanese incense brand founded in 1993 in Tokyo, producing hand-dipped incense sticks, cones, and ceramic holders. The name derives from the Swahili word for creativity. Kuumba's sticks are made in short production runs across fragrances including Blue Nile, Lovers, and After the Rain, with packaging that references hip-hop, reggae, and streetwear graphics. The brand operates its own retail shops in Japan and distributes through skate and lifestyle boutiques internationally. Kuumba has been stocked at Supreme for years, and the two have released co-branded incense packs and ceramic burners.
