Supreme x Latin Percussion Conga Drum
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The LP Classic Series conga is a 30-inch hand drum with an 11-inch head, built from select kiln-dried Siam Oak in a three-ply shell, topped with a hand-selected natural rawhide skin, LP Comfort Curve II rims to reduce hand fatigue, and 5/16-inch diameter tuning lugs. Latin Percussion was founded in 1964 by Martin Cohen, who introduced the first commercially available wood congas after Cuban-made drums became unavailable due to the U.S. embargo. The Classic Series has been a professional studio and stage standard since. The FW2023 Supreme collab version carries a co-branded logo plate on the shell and retailed at $898.
About Latin Percussion
Latin Percussion, known as LP, is an American percussion manufacturer founded in 1964 by Martin Cohen in the Bronx, New York, and later headquartered in Garfield, New Jersey. Cohen, a self-taught engineer, began building cowbells and claves for Tito Puente and Mongo Santamaria after imports from Cuba were cut off by the U.S. embargo. LP produces congas, bongos, timbales, cajons, and hand percussion under its Classic, Matador, and Aspire lines, and its Salsa Cha-Cha cowbell and Classic congas are standard in professional touring rigs. Supreme has collaborated with Latin Percussion on branded cowbells and bongos.
