Supreme x Linea Zero Toucan Lamp
Supreme vs. Original

Original — Linea Zero
Toucan Lamp (Enea Ferrari, 1970)
About the original
Linea Zero is an Italian lighting manufacturer based in the Veneto region, specializing in molded polypropylene fixtures. The Toucan Lamp was designed by Enea Ferrari in 1970 as one of the first molded polypropylene lamps for children's rooms, a minimal toucan silhouette with an integrated shade, standing roughly 32 cm tall. The original ran on a standard E14 incandescent bulb. Linea Zero reissued the lamp in 2024 with integrated LED, USB-C rechargeable power, and capacitive touch on/off in conjunction with the Supreme collaboration, ending the dependency on a wired socket. The SS2024 Supreme version is the standard reissue lamp with a printed box logo on the body; it released May 23, 2024 at $228.
About Linea Zero
Linea Zero is an Italian lighting manufacturer founded in 1973 by Enea Ferrari in Verona, Italy, as a continuation of his earlier company Old Timer Ferrari, which Ferrari had launched in 1964 with his father. The company is best known for the Toucan lamp, designed by Ferrari in 1970 and one of the first children's lamps molded from polypropylene Moplen. Linea Zero develops its lamps in a proprietary polymer called Polilux and continues to manufacture in Italy. Ferrari's nephew Alessandro Zavater has led the company since 2013. Supreme has collaborated with Linea Zero on a co-branded Toucan lamp.
