Supreme x Louisville Slugger Baseball Bat
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

Original — Louisville Slugger
Genuine Series Maple C271 Baseball Bat
About the original
The Louisville Slugger Genuine Maple C271 is a pro-turn wood bat cut from a rock maple billet on the C271 profile — a medium barrel, thin handle, slightly flared knob that has been one of the most-used MLB stock models since the 1990s. Louisville Slugger was founded in 1884 in Louisville, Kentucky by Bud Hillerich after a broken bat led to a custom order from Pete Browning of the Louisville Eclipse; the Hillerich & Bradsby factory has turned pro bats for players from Babe Ruth to Derek Jeter and remains Major League Baseball's longest-running licensed supplier. The SS06 Supreme collab was not the full-size C271 but a scaled mini bat stamped "Look Out Sucka" in red, black, and white.
About Louisville Slugger
Louisville Slugger is an American baseball bat manufacturer made by Hillerich & Bradsby, founded in 1884 in Louisville, Kentucky. According to company history, seventeen-year-old Bud Hillerich turned the first pro bat for Louisville Eclipse star Pete Browning in his father J.F. Hillerich's woodworking shop. The Louisville Slugger trademark was registered in 1894, and the brand became the most widely used bat in Major League Baseball, carried by Babe Ruth, Ted Williams, and Derek Jeter. The factory still produces ash and maple bats in Louisville. Supreme's collaboration applied streetwear graphics to a piece of baseball equipment unchanged in form for over a century.
