About the original
The Lucano step stool is designed by Metaphys for Hasegawa Kogyo Co., Japan's top ladder manufacturer, founded in 1956 in Niigata. The stool is constructed from lightweight aluminum alloy with an anodized finish, folding flat for storage, and rated to 330 lbs. Its minimal silhouette won the Red Dot Design Award and the Good Design Award. The Supreme FW2018 version is a two-step unit with the box logo printed down the side rail, retailing for $288.
