Supreme x Maglite 6-Cell D Flashlight
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Maglite 6-Cell D is a 19-inch aluminum incandescent flashlight powered by six D-cell batteries, built around an anodized aircraft-grade aluminum barrel, an adjustable-focus reflector that rotates from spot to flood, and a replaceable Xenon bulb. The weight of the loaded body and the knurled grip also gave the 6-Cell D a long run as an impact-rated security tool, standard-issue with police departments through the 1980s and 1990s. Maglite was founded by Anthony Maglica in 1974 and has produced every Mag flashlight in Ontario, California since 1979. The FW07 Supreme collab was an early Supreme x tool drop: a stock 6-Cell D with an engraved box logo, retailing at roughly $40 stock.
About Maglite
Maglite is an American flashlight manufacturer made by Mag Instrument, founded in 1955 by Croatian-American machinist Anthony Maglica in Ontario, California. The company initially operated as a precision machine shop; Maglica introduced the Maglite flashlight in 1979, targeting the public safety market. The aircraft-grade anodized aluminum body and focusable beam made it standard issue for police, fire, and military users, and the D-cell Mag remains one of the most recognizable flashlight designs in the world. Mag Instrument still manufactures in Ontario and occupies over 700,000 square feet. Supreme's collaboration put a box logo on a duty-grade tool.
