About the original

The Maglite XL50 is an American-made push-button LED flashlight powered by three AAA alkaline batteries, delivering 200 lumens with a 224-meter beam throw and an adjustable spot-to-flood focus. It offers three user modes — high, low, and an emergency strobe — runs 6 hours 45 minutes on high, measures 4.8 inches long with a 1-inch barrel, weighs 3.68 ounces with batteries, and is rated IPX4 for water resistance. Maglite has manufactured flashlights in Ontario, California since Tony Maglica founded the company in 1979, and the aircraft-grade aluminum body earned the line standard-issue status with law enforcement. The FW2015 Supreme collab anodized the XL50 in Supreme red.

About Maglite

Maglite is an American flashlight manufacturer made by Mag Instrument, founded in 1955 by Croatian-American machinist Anthony Maglica in Ontario, California. The company initially operated as a precision machine shop; Maglica introduced the Maglite flashlight in 1979, targeting the public safety market. The aircraft-grade anodized aluminum body and focusable beam made it standard issue for police, fire, and military users, and the D-cell Mag remains one of the most recognizable flashlight designs in the world. Mag Instrument still manufactures in Ontario and occupies over 700,000 square feet. Supreme's collaboration put a box logo on a duty-grade tool.
