About Matador
Matador is an American travel-equipment company founded in 2014 by Chris Clearman in Boulder, Colorado. The company launched with the Pocket Blanket, a ripstop nylon picnic blanket that folds into a palm-sized pouch, and expanded into packable backpacks, technical duffles, dry bags, and travel organizers built around ultralight fabrics and welded seams. The Freerain and SEG product lines target adventure travelers who pack carry-on only. Matador sells through REI, Backcountry, and specialty outdoor retailers, and remains independent and headquartered in Boulder. Supreme collaborated with Matador on a packable travel blanket and a waterproof drawstring bag.
