1:12 Scale Mini Jersey Barrier
About the original
The Mini Materials 1:12 Scale Jersey Barrier is a real concrete replica of a highway traffic barrier, cast and hand-finished in the USA. Mini Materials produces miniature construction supplies — cinder blocks, breeze blocks, pallets, lumber, and traffic barriers — at 1:12 scale, the standard dollhouse and fingerboard ratio. Their customer base is model railroaders, architecture students, diorama builders, and people who find construction objects aesthetically interesting. Each barrier is poured in a silicone mold and cured from the same Portland cement mix used for full-size infrastructure. The SS2026 Supreme version has a debossed box logo and retailed at $148 against the original's $22 — the highest percentage markup in the catalog.
About Mini Materials
Mini Materials is an American miniature building supply company founded in 2015 by Mat Hofma and Erik Polumbo, who began producing 1:12 scale concrete cinder blocks out of a garage after a Reddit post went viral. The blocks are cast from real concrete and measure 1.33 by 0.66 by 0.66 inches. The line now includes bricks, pallets, lumber, jersey barriers, and construction accessories used for model building, desk objects, and film props. Jared Waters acquired the business in 2022. Supreme's collaboration featured the 1:12 scale jersey barrier, a desktop object that retails for around $22.
