Leather Tool Belt
About the original
Occidental Leather was founded in 1980 in Sonoma County, California, and has manufactured tool belts for professional carpenters, framers, and finish trades continuously in the United States since then. The company hand-cuts and rivets each belt from Carmel-tanned top-grain leather in its own Santa Rosa workshop. Flagship sets like the 5530 Stronghold and the 9596 OxyLights use nylon-reinforced riveting, thick-core leather, and D-ring suspension pockets sized for framing hammers, speed squares, and a 12-oz tool load; full-rig Occidental sets retail from roughly $250 to $400. The FW2025 Supreme version is a co-branded leather tool belt built on Occidentals standard two-pouch rig, with a single belt, fixed left and right tool pouches, and a Supreme woven label at the back waist. Released September 25, 2025 at $298 retail in black.
About Occidental Leather

The company hand-cuts and stitches its carry systems from top-grain cowhide and ballistic nylon at its Sonoma County workshop, building rigs for framers, electricians, and finish carpenters. Signature products include the Stronghold Insulated Tool Bag, the Pro Framer suspenders system, and modular bags with industrial nylon webbing. Occidental's belts are standard issue on high-end residential job sites and have a following among woodworkers who buy them for shop use.
