3310PL Photoluminescent LED Flashlight
About the original
The Pelican 3310PL is a photoluminescent LED flashlight that charges itself in ambient light and then glows in the dark for visibility in pitch-black environments such as a blacked-out warehouse, cave, or power outage. It delivers 378 lumens on high, runs up to 202 hours on three AA alkaline batteries on low, and carries a watertight body rated IPX7 for submersion. Pelican Products, founded in Torrance, California in 1976, manufactures lights and hard cases to military, law-enforcement, and first-responder specifications, with much of its product line carrying lifetime guarantees. The SS2019 Supreme collab version kept the photoluminescent shell and added printed Supreme branding, retailing at $48 in a single yellow colorway.
About Pelican
Pelican Products is an American manufacturer of protective cases, coolers, and portable lighting founded in 1976 by David and Arline Parker as a mail-order home business in Torrance, California. Dave Parker, a scuba diver, patented the Pelican Float as the company's first product, followed by the SabreLite flashlight and, in 1978, the Protector case. The crushproof, watertight, dustproof cases use an automatic pressure equalization valve and polymer construction, and are standard issue with military, law enforcement, and emergency services worldwide. Supreme produced co-branded Pelican 1150 and 1200 cases for its accessories lineup.
