About the original

Prism Designs was founded in 1983 in Seattle, Washington and is one of the oldest continuously operating kite manufacturers in the United States, producing both single-line and dual-line sport kites for hobbyist and competitive flyers. The Zenith 5 is a five-foot single-line delta kite with a dye-sublimated ripstop nylon sail, fiberglass spar frame, and 5–25 mph wind range, designed for stable flight at moderate altitude with minimal input. It ships with 200 feet of 50-pound polyester line on a winder and two 8-foot ribbon tails for stability. The SS2021 Supreme version is the standard Zenith 5 printed with Supreme's box logo across the sail; released April 8, 2021 at $58.

About Prism

Prism is an American kite manufacturer founded in 1992 by Mark Reed and a small group of friends in a Seattle basement. The company designs dual-line stunt kites, single-line kites, and power foils using carbon fiber spars, Spectra line, and ripstop nylon sails borrowed from aerospace and sailmaking. Models including the Quantum, Nexus, and Snapshot are built for trick flying and competition. Prism Kite Technology operates from Seattle, Washington, and distributes globally. The Quantum is used as a reference trainer at kite festivals. Supreme has collaborated with Prism on a co-branded stunt kite.
