Supreme x Slice Manual Carton Cutter
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The Slice 10400 is a three-position manual box cutter with a double-sided 100% zirconium-oxide ceramic blade, a glass-filled nylon handle, and a metal sheath that resists acetone and other solvents. The ceramic blade is chemically inert, rust-proof, and lasts up to 11 times longer than a steel blade, and its finger-friendly grind is designed to cut corrugated material without readily slicing skin. Slice was founded in 2008 in Campbell, California, and the 10400 is the company's flagship carton cutter. Supreme's SS2021 version engraves its logo on the sheath and retailed for $16 on April 1, 2021.
About Slice
Slice is an American cutting-tool manufacturer founded in 2008 by T.J. Scimone in Miami, Florida, originally as a housewares design studio before pivoting to safety blades. The brand makes box cutters, scissors, and craft knives using a patented 100% zirconium oxide ceramic micro-blade ground to a finger-friendly edge that cuts packaging and materials but resists skin lacerations. Slice donates one percent of sales to autism research, a commitment tied to Scimone's son. Safety Products Holdings, a Bertram Capital portfolio company, acquired Slice in 2021. Supreme has collaborated with Slice on a co-branded box cutter.
