Original — Speedo
Fastskin Pure Focus Swim Goggles
About the original
The Speedo Fastskin Pure Focus is a pool racing goggle designed around Speedo's IQfit platform, with a hybrid nose bridge that adjusts in one-millimeter increments, a silicone IQfit strap and face seal tuned by cadaver-lab fit testing, and iridescent mirrored anti-fog polycarbonate lenses that give roughly 180 degrees of peripheral vision off the wall. Speedo was founded in 1914 in Sydney, Australia by Alexander MacRae and has outfitted Olympic swim teams since the 1950s; the Fastskin range was developed in collaboration with the Aqualab performance research group. The SS20 Supreme collab uses a stock Fastskin Pure Focus with box-logo branding and retailed at $88, slightly below Speedo's standard $90 price.
About Speedo
Speedo is an Australian swimwear manufacturer founded in 1914 by Alexander MacRae in Sydney as MacRae Knitting Mills. The brand introduced the Racerback swimsuit in 1928 and later pioneered the Fastskin fabric technology, followed by the LZR Racer suit co-developed with NASA and worn during a run of world records at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, which prompted FINA to rewrite its swimwear regulations. The company produces racing suits, goggles, caps, and training gear, and sponsors national teams and Olympic swimmers worldwide. Speedo is owned by Pentland Group in most markets. Supreme has collaborated with Speedo on co-branded swim and training apparel.
