Supreme x Spyder WINDSTOPPER Zip Up Sweater
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
About the original
The Supreme/Spyder WINDSTOPPER Zip Up Sweater is a full-zip knit with a GORE WINDSTOPPER drop liner sandwiched between a wool-blend face and a printed polyester lining, making it a windproof midlayer rather than a standard sweater. It has on-seam hand pockets at the lower front, a jacquard-knit graphic on the front and back, and embroidered spider-web and logo work on the cuffs. Spyder was founded in Boulder, Colorado in 1978 by David Jacobs to produce racing sweaters for competitive alpine skiers; the brand has dressed the U.S., Canadian, and Austrian national ski teams. WINDSTOPPER is W. L. Gore's windproof laminate, distinct from waterproof GORE-TEX. Released December 19, 2024 at $348 in green, black, and stone as a Supreme exclusive.
About Spyder
Spyder is an American ski apparel brand founded in 1978 by David Jacobs in Boulder, Colorado, started as a mail-order business out of his kitchen selling racing sweaters to ski-team customers. Jacobs, a former member of the Canadian National Ski Team, named the company after the spider-leg-pattern racing pants his sons wore on the circuit, borrowing the "y" spelling from the Ferrari Spyder. The brand outfitted the U.S. Ski Team from 1989 to 2022 and developed early full-body race speed suits used in World Cup competition. Authentic Brands Group acquired Spyder in 2018. Supreme has collaborated with Spyder on technical ski jackets, bib pants, and base layers.
