Supreme x Steiff E.T. Plush
Supreme vs. Original

Original — Steiff
E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial
About the original
The Steiff E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial is a 13-inch jointed plush based on the 1982 Spielberg character, released as a 2022 limited edition of 1,982 pieces to mark the film's 40th anniversary. Steiff was founded in Giengen, Germany in 1880 and invented the modern stuffed toy in 1902; every piece carries the company's gold-plated button-in-ear, introduced in 1904 as the world's first trademark sewn into a toy. The retail Steiff figure comes in mohair or microfiber plush with airbrushed wrinkle details, embroidered eyes, and a hand-stitched nose. The Supreme SS25 version swaps the oversized hoodie E.T. wears in the film for a red Supreme-branded hooded jacket.
About Steiff
Steiff is a German plush toy manufacturer founded in 1880 by Margarete Steiff in Giengen, Württemberg. Steiff began making fabric elephant pincushions before her nephew Richard introduced a jointed mohair bear at the 1903 Leipzig Toy Fair, the first commercial teddy bear, named after Theodore Roosevelt. The company produced one million bears by 1907 and introduced the Knopf im Ohr (Button in Ear) trademark in 1904 to deter counterfeits. Steiff still manufactures in Giengen and remains the reference standard for collectible plush. Supreme has collaborated with Steiff on box-logo hooded teddy bears in heather grey and black, and an E.T. plush figure for SS25.
