Spider-Man Home Edition Pinball Machine
About the original
The Stern Pinball Spider-Man Home Edition is a full-size residential pinball machine with dual flippers, slingshots, pop bumpers, drop targets, spinner targets, crossing ramps, molded villain figures, and multi-ball modes drawn from Sam Raimi's Spider-Man film trilogy. Stern Pinball, founded in 1977 in Melrose Park, Illinois, is the last major manufacturer of commercial pinball machines in the United States and supplies the majority of modern arcade and home pinball hardware worldwide. The SS2018 Supreme collab was limited to 100 individually numbered units, each decorated with a custom translite and side art replacing the standard Spider-Man artwork with a Supreme-themed treatment. The machine retailed at $6,500.
About Stern Pinball
Stern Pinball is an American pinball manufacturer based in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. The current company was formed in 1999 when Gary Stern acquired Sega's pinball division, which had previously been Data East Pinball. Gary's father Sam Stern co-owned Williams in 1947 and later ran Stern Electronics from 1977 until its closure in 1985. For most of the 2000s and 2010s, Stern was the only commercial pinball manufacturer in the world, producing licensed machines themed around bands, films, and franchises including Metallica, Star Wars, and The Beatles. Supreme has collaborated with Stern Pinball on a co-branded pinball machine.
