Supreme x Stone Island Denim 6-Panel
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
Stone Island was founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, Italy, and is known for garment-dyeing processes and the compass-and-star patch fastened to the sleeve with two exposed buttons. The brand has developed over 60,000 proprietary dye recipes and applies them to finished garments rather than raw fabric, producing the uneven color patina it is recognized for. The FW2023 six-panel uses an indigo-dyed denim shell with a stonewashed finish, structured crown, curved brim, and adjustable back strap. The standard Stone Island sleeve badge is relocated to the side panel alongside a co-branded Supreme tab, released in stonewash and a lighter indigo wash.
About Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian sportswear label founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, near Modena. The brand is known for experimental textile research, including garment-dyed pieces, reflective fabrics, thermosensitive Ice Jackets, and the Tela Stella material developed from truck tarpaulin. Every piece carries the detachable compass-rose badge buttoned to the left sleeve. Carlo Rivetti's Sportswear Company has operated the brand since 1983, and Moncler Group acquired a controlling stake in 2020. Stone Island has a long association with English football casual and terrace culture alongside its streetwear following. Supreme has collaborated with Stone Island on co-branded outerwear and knitwear.
