Original — Stone Island
Denim Trucker Jacket
About the original
Stone Island was founded by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, Italy in 1982 and is known for fabric experimentation — dyed nylons, reflective coatings, thermosensitive polymers, and garment-washed denims produced at the brand's dye house in Bologna. The FW23 Supreme piece is a piece-dyed cotton denim jacket cut as a shirt-jacket with a point collar, button front, a button-flap chest pocket, and the Stone Island compass-rose patch fixed to the chest pocket flap with the brand's signature two-button fastening. Produced at Stone Island's Italian manufacturing partners as a Supreme exclusive, it released Week 17 of Fall/Winter 2023 in green, tan, and washed indigo.
About Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian sportswear label founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, near Modena. The brand is known for experimental textile research, including garment-dyed pieces, reflective fabrics, thermosensitive Ice Jackets, and the Tela Stella material developed from truck tarpaulin. Every piece carries the detachable compass-rose badge buttoned to the left sleeve. Carlo Rivetti's Sportswear Company has operated the brand since 1983, and Moncler Group acquired a controlling stake in 2020. Stone Island has a long association with English football casual and terrace culture alongside its streetwear following. Supreme has collaborated with Stone Island on co-branded outerwear and knitwear.
