Supreme x Stone Island S/S Top
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version
Original — Stone Island
S/S Top (short-sleeve crewneck)
About the original
The Supreme x Stone Island S/S Top is a cotton jersey short-sleeve crewneck with high-density silicone-printed co-branded logos on the chest. Stone Island was founded by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, Italy in 1982 as an offshoot of his C.P. Company work, and its in-house Centro Ricerche laboratory develops the heat-reactive, garment-dyed, and metal-coated fabrics the label is known for: Tela Stella, Reflective, Ice Jacket. This tee is a standard jersey piece rather than a showcase of that textile work; the point is the combined logo lockup. Produced for the SS22 capsule in five colorways (black, white, navy, red, mint) and sold only through Supreme at $98 retail.
About Stone Island
Stone Island is an Italian sportswear label founded in 1982 by Massimo Osti in Ravarino, near Modena. The brand is known for experimental textile research, including garment-dyed pieces, reflective fabrics, thermosensitive Ice Jackets, and the Tela Stella material developed from truck tarpaulin. Every piece carries the detachable compass-rose badge buttoned to the left sleeve. Carlo Rivetti's Sportswear Company has operated the brand since 1983, and Moncler Group acquired a controlling stake in 2020. Stone Island has a long association with English football casual and terrace culture alongside its streetwear following. Supreme has collaborated with Stone Island on co-branded outerwear and knitwear.
