About the original
The Umbro Knit Soccer Short is a mid-thigh training short with an elastic waistband, interior drawcord, and contrast-color side panels. Umbro was founded in 1924 in Wilmslow, Cheshire by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys (the name is a portmanteau of Humphreys and brothers) and the company supplied the England national team from 1966 (the year of England's only World Cup title) through 2013. Brazil's 1958 World Cup-winning side also wore Umbro, and at the 1966 tournament 15 of the 16 competing teams wore Umbro kits. The SS25 Supreme version is knit in cotton-poly with a Supreme wordmark jacquard-knit across the front, the Umbro diamond at the right hem, and a co-branded crest at the left; it released in red/green, white, black, and navy.
About Umbro
Umbro is an English sportswear manufacturer founded in 1924 by brothers Harold and Wallace Humphreys in Wilmslow, Cheshire, originally trading as Humphreys Brothers Limited from a workshop above the family pub. The name combines "Um" from Humphreys and "bro" from brothers, and the double-diamond logo has identified the brand since the 1930s. Umbro supplied kits to fifteen of the sixteen teams at the 1966 World Cup, including England's championship-winning side, and outfitted Brazil for its first World Cup title in 1958. Nike acquired Umbro in 2008 and sold it to Iconix Brand Group in 2012. Supreme has collaborated with Umbro on football jerseys, track jackets, and shorts.
