About the original

Vanson Leathers was founded in 1974 in Fall River, Massachusetts, and has cut and stitched motorcycle leathers for road racing and stunt work at its Massachusetts factory since the 1980s. Vanson's leather carryall is a structured cowhide bag with a single zip main compartment, Cordura nylon lining and interior pocket, twin rolled leather handles, and a removable, adjustable shoulder strap on gold-tone hardware. The Supreme SS21 version carries the Vanson Leathers oval patch at the yoke above a Supreme script embroidery on the front panel, with a spider web leather appliqué across the back. Offered in black and red for Spring/Summer 2021 at $598; the web appliqué and co-branded hardware are exclusive to the collab.

About Vanson Leathers

Vanson Leathers is an American motorcycle apparel manufacturer founded in 1974 by Mike van der Sleesen and Jamie Goodson in Boston, Massachusetts. The company's name is a portmanteau of the founders' surnames. Production moved to Fall River in 1987, where it still operates from the Laurel Lake Mill. Vanson made its reputation building racing leathers for Daytona 200 winner Dale Singleton in 1979, and has since outfitted riders including Freddie Spencer, Giacomo Agostini, and Nicky Hayden. Each jacket is cut and sewn by hand, with up to 126 steps per garment. Supreme has collaborated with Vanson on leather jackets and racing suits.
