About Windmill
Windmill Co., Ltd. is a Japanese lighter manufacturer founded in 1920 and based in Taito-ku, Tokyo. The company produces butane torch lighters, kerosene lighters, and windproof outdoor models, and is recognized for engineering lighters that fire in high wind, at altitude, and in rain. Its Quest and Blast series use turbo-jet flame mechanisms rated for use on Everest expeditions, and the brand is standard equipment for Japanese anglers, campers, and tobacconists. Windmill manufactures all parts in Japan and sells through specialty retailers rather than mass market. Supreme's collaboration with Windmill produced Box Logo versions of its Quest torch lighter.
