Supreme x Zojirushi Stainless Mug
Supreme vs. Original

Original — Zojirushi
Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Mug (16 oz)
About the original
The Zojirushi Stainless Steel Vacuum Insulated Mug (SM-SA48) holds 16 ounces and uses double-wall vacuum insulation with an 18/8 stainless steel interior to keep drinks hot for six hours and cold for six hours. The flip-open lid has a two-step release designed to redirect condensation back into the mug rather than spilling, and the lid fully disassembles for cleaning. Zojirushi was founded in Osaka, Japan in 1918 as a producer of hand-blown vacuum flasks, and celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2018; it remains one of Japan's leading vacuum insulation manufacturers, also making rice cookers, breadmakers, and Air Pot beverage dispensers. The Supreme FW2017 collab adds co-branding to a mug that retails for about $30.
About Zojirushi
Zojirushi Corporation is a Japanese home appliance manufacturer founded in 1918 in Osaka as Ichikawa Brothers Trading Company, originally producing glass-lined vacuum bottles. The company introduced Japan's first electric rice cooker with automatic keep-warm in 1970 and has since built its reputation on micro-computerized rice cookers, vacuum-insulated stainless steel mugs, and thermal carafes. The Neuro Fuzzy and Induction Heating rice cookers are standard equipment in Japanese households and widely exported. Zojirushi's elephant logo references the brand name, which translates to "elephant mark." Supreme collaborated with Zojirushi on a co-branded SM-SA stainless steel vacuum bottle.
