Seiko is a Japanese watch manufacturer founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori as a clock and jewelry shop in Ginza, Tokyo, with watch production beginning in 1892 under the Seikosha factory name. Seiko produces its own movements, cases, dials, and hairsprings in-house. The company introduced the Astron, the world's first quartz wristwatch, in December 1969, triggering the quartz revolution. Its current range includes the Grand Seiko, Prospex dive, and Presage lines, and Seiko has served as official timekeeper for multiple Olympic Games. Supreme released co-branded Seiko watches for its Fall/Winter 2009 and later seasons.
