Victory Marathon Desk Alarm Clock QHL062
About the original
The Seiko Victory Marathon Desk Alarm Clock QHL062 is a desktop replica of the large race-timing display boards Seiko has supplied at marathon finish lines since the company served as the official timekeeper of the 1964 Tokyo Olympic Games. The countertop unit has a segmented LCD with a countdown timer, a stopwatch accurate to 1/100 second in lap mode, a daily alarm with snooze, and a perpetual calendar, all housed in a black and yellow plastic case modeled on the stadium displays. Seiko was founded in Tokyo in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori and is one of Japan's two dominant watchmakers alongside Citizen. The SS21 collab adds Supreme branding in place of the event sponsor logo.
About Seiko
Seiko is a Japanese watch manufacturer founded in 1881 by Kintaro Hattori as a clock and jewelry shop in Ginza, Tokyo, with watch production beginning in 1892 under the Seikosha factory name. Seiko produces its own movements, cases, dials, and hairsprings in-house. The company introduced the Astron, the world's first quartz wristwatch, in December 1969, triggering the quartz revolution. Its current range includes the Grand Seiko, Prospex dive, and Presage lines, and Seiko has served as official timekeeper for multiple Olympic Games. Supreme released co-branded Seiko watches for its Fall/Winter 2009 and later seasons.
