Supreme x Burberry Crusher
Supreme vs. Original

About the original
The Burberry Crusher is a packable bucket hat made in Italy from a cotton and nylon blend, cut in a six-panel construction with a short down-turned brim and the Burberry House Check printed across the crown. Burberry was founded in 1856 by 21-year-old Thomas Burberry in Basingstoke, England, and patented gabardine, the breathable weatherproofed cotton fabric, in 1888 (the same fabric used for its trench coats). The Equestrian Knight emblem and tan, black, white, and red House Check were adopted as brand signatures in 1924. The SS22 Supreme collab uses the same Italian-made hat with Supreme embroidery on the front panel alongside Burberry's Prorsum label.
About Burberry
Burberry is a British fashion house founded in 1856 by 21-year-old Thomas Burberry in Basingstoke, Hampshire. In 1879 Burberry invented gabardine, a breathable, water-resistant fabric woven from waterproofed yarn and patented in 1888. The company supplied outerwear to polar explorers including Fridtjof Nansen and Ernest Shackleton, and developed the trench coat for British officers in World War I. The Burberry check, introduced as a coat lining in the 1920s, became one of the most recognized patterns in fashion. The label remains publicly listed on the London Stock Exchange. Supreme collaborated with Burberry on a full collection in 2022.
