The Helinox Bench One is a two-seat collapsible camp bench with a DAC aluminum-alloy frame, a 600-denier polyester seat, a 420-pound weight capacity, and an assembled footprint of 43.5 by 16 by 16 inches that packs to 17.5 inches; it retails for $300. Helinox was founded in 2010 in Seoul, South Korea as a division of DAC, the aluminum tent-pole manufacturer that supplies Black Diamond, MSR, and most major tent brands. The SS22 Supreme collab uses the same frame and seat construction with printed logo branding on the top, and released July 7, 2022 at $378 in red and black.
About Helinox
Helinox is a South Korean outdoor furniture manufacturer founded in 2009 by Jake Lah in Seoul, South Korea. Helinox is a sister company to DAC, Lah's tent-pole manufacturer founded in 1988 that supplies most major tent brands worldwide. All Helinox furniture is built around DAC's TH72M aluminum alloy tubing, the same material used in expedition tent poles. The Chair One launched in 2012 at 1.9 pounds and effectively created the lightweight portable furniture category, followed by the Bench One, Cot One, and a range of folding tables. Supreme has collaborated with Helinox on the Chair One, Ultralight Table, and Bench One in checkered and red colorways.
