About the original
Helinox Chair One is a collapsible camping chair built on a DAC aluminum-alloy pole frame with silicone shock cord and resin hubs, weighing 1 lb 15 oz assembled, supporting 320 lbs, and packing down to 14 by 4.5 inches. Helinox was founded in South Korea in 2009 as a consumer offshoot of DAC, the tent-pole manufacturer that has supplied The North Face, Mountain Hardwear, and Big Agnes since 1988. The standard Chair One and Table One each retail at $119.95 on Helinox.com. Supreme's Spring/Summer 2016 set released May 12, 2016 at $388 combined and uses the same frames as the retail versions with Supreme logos printed on the seat and tabletop.
About Helinox
Helinox is a South Korean outdoor furniture manufacturer founded in 2009 by Jake Lah in Seoul, South Korea. Helinox is a sister company to DAC, Lah's tent-pole manufacturer founded in 1988 that supplies most major tent brands worldwide. All Helinox furniture is built around DAC's TH72M aluminum alloy tubing, the same material used in expedition tent poles. The Chair One launched in 2012 at 1.9 pounds and effectively created the lightweight portable furniture category, followed by the Bench One, Cot One, and a range of folding tables.
