About the original
Helinox is a Seoul-based outdoor gear brand founded in 2012 as the direct-to-consumer arm of DAC Corporation, the Korean aluminum-pole supplier used by most major tent manufacturers. The Tactical Field Stool uses DAC TH72M aluminum alloy legs connected by shock cord with a 600D polyester seat, collapses into a roughly 12-inch stuff sack, and is the military-colorway version of the same frame Helinox sells in its civilian line as the Speed Stool. The FW23 Supreme version bundles two standard Tactical Field Stools with the Supreme logo screen-printed on each seat; the aluminum frame, seat fabric, and pack size are unchanged from Helinox's own production. Helinox is a South Korean outdoor furniture manufacturer founded in 2009 by Jake Lah in Seoul, South Korea. Helinox is a sister company to DAC, Lah's tent-pole manufacturer founded in 1988 that supplies most major tent brands worldwide.
