About the original

The ICEE Home Countertop Slushie Machine is a licensed consumer-scale slush maker built by Fizz Creations that produces up to 34 fluid ounces per batch using syrup, ice, and salt; it measures 18 by 7.5 by 6.5 inches and retails around $60. ICEE Corporation has operated the branded frozen carbonated beverage since 1967 and sells more than 300 million cups per year through convenience stores and cinemas. Supreme's SS2024 collaboration adds box-logo branding to the machine and bundles two 16.9 oz ICEE syrup bottles in cherry and blue raspberry. It released in February 2024 for $198.

About ICEE

ICEE is an American frozen carbonated beverage brand invented in 1958 by Omar Knedlik, a Dairy Queen owner in Coffeyville, Kansas, who began freezing bottled sodas after his fountain machine broke. Knedlik partnered with the John E. Mitchell Company in Dallas to develop a dedicated machine, receiving a patent in 1960. The block-letter logo with hanging icicles, designed by local artist Ruth E. Taylor, has remained unchanged. 7-Eleven licensed the technology in 1965 to launch Slurpee, and J&J Snack Foods acquired The Icee Company in 1987. Supreme has collaborated with ICEE on a co-branded merchandise piece.
