Supreme x Kangol Bermuda Casual Hat
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Kangol Bermuda Casual is a bucket-style hat made from Kangol's proprietary Bermuda fabric, a knitted boucle yarn treated and blocked to a soft, textured hand that is often mistaken for terry cloth but is neither. The crown carries the Kangaroo logo embroidered on the side, with a soft downturned brim for a casual silhouette. Kangol was founded by Jakob Henryk Spreiregen in Cleator, Cumbria, England in 1938 as a beret manufacturer; the company introduced the seamless 504 cap in 1954. The Bermuda Casual became a staple of late-1980s and 1990s hip-hop fashion worn by LL Cool J and Samuel L. Jackson. The SS20 Supreme version adds a box logo and Kangaroo embroidery.
About Kangol
Kangol is a British headwear company founded in 1938 by Jacques Spreiregen in Cleator, Cumbria, with the first factory opened that year alongside his nephew Joseph Meisner. The name combines K from knitting, ANG from angora, and OL from wool. Kangol supplied berets to British armed forces during World War II and to the British Olympic team in 1948 before moving into bucket hats and the 504 flat cap, which became fixtures of 1980s hip-hop on LL Cool J, Run-DMC, and Slick Rick. Bollman Hat Company has owned the brand since 2001. Supreme has collaborated with Kangol on co-branded bucket hats and 504 caps.
