Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Kidde FX340GW is a 3.5-pound multipurpose dry-chemical fire extinguisher rated 3-A:40-B:C, with a corrosion-resistant steel cylinder, a metal pull pin and valve, and a pressure gauge for at-a-glance status checks, certified for home, garage, and workshop use. Kidde was founded in 1917 by Walter Kidde in Belleville, New Jersey, originally manufacturing marine fire-suppression systems for cargo ships; today it is one of the most widely distributed residential fire-protection brands in North America and is a subsidiary of Carrier Global. The SS2015 Supreme collab adds a horizontal white box logo across the standard red canister; the extinguisher itself is the stock FX340GW, which retails for around $50.
About Kidde
Kidde is an American fire safety manufacturer founded in 1917 by Walter Kidde in Bloomfield, New Jersey. The company built its early reputation on industrial fire suppression systems, installing the first integrated smoke detection and CO2 extinguishing system aboard ships in the 1920s. Kidde later expanded into residential products and is now one of the largest makers of household smoke alarms, carbon monoxide detectors, and fire extinguishers in North America. Its ABC dry chemical extinguishers and battery-powered smoke alarms are standard issue in homes, schools, and commercial buildings. Supreme has collaborated with Kidde on branded fire extinguishers.
