Post-it Super Sticky Notes, 3 in. x 3 in., Assorted Colors, 10 Pads/Pack
About the original
Post-it Notes are repositionable adhesive paper pads produced by 3M, using a low-tack microsphere adhesive formulated by chemist Spencer Silver at 3M in 1968 and commercialized as a consumer product by colleague Art Fry in 1977. The product single-handedly created the market category and has held over 90% market share for decades. 3M's standard Super Sticky Notes are sold in 10-pad assorted-color packs with 45 sheets per pad, using the brand's reformulated 2x-hold adhesive rated for vertical and textured surfaces. The SS24 Supreme version is a 10-pad box of 3x3 inch notes with the box logo printed in red on each sheet, 30 sheets per pad.
About 3M Post-it
3M Post-it is the repositionable note product line from 3M, the Minnesota-based industrial conglomerate founded in 1902 in Two Harbors, Minnesota and now headquartered in Maplewood. The technology came from Dr. Spencer Silver, a 3M scientist who in 1968 accidentally created a low-tack pressure-sensitive microsphere adhesive while attempting a stronger one. Colleague Art Fry applied it to bookmark paper in 1974, and 3M launched the product as Post 'n Peel in 1977 before rebranding it Post-it Notes nationwide in 1980. Silver and Fry entered the National Inventors Hall of Fame in 2010. Supreme collaborated with 3M Post-it on a branded Post-it Notes set.
