About the original

Pyrex glass mixing bowls with snap-on lids have been a staple of American home kitchens since Corning introduced the brand in 1915. The tempered borosilicate-origin glass is microwave, dishwasher, oven, and freezer safe, and the color-coded BPA-free plastic lids let the bowls double as food storage. The set covers the three sizes most commonly reached for in a kitchen: a 2-cup prep bowl, a 4-cup mixing bowl, and a 7-cup serving bowl, each with nesting geometry so the set stores inside itself. The FW2023 Supreme collab is the same glass-and-lid set with a printed repeating Supreme pattern on each bowl, retailing at $60.

About Pyrex

Pyrex is an American glassware brand introduced in 1915 by Corning Glass Works in Corning, New York. The material was originally developed as borosilicate laboratory glass, then adapted for kitchen use after Bessie Littleton, the wife of a Corning scientist, baked a cake in a sawed-off battery jar. Pyrex bakeware, mixing bowls, and measuring cups became standard in American kitchens, and the brand is now owned by Instant Brands. U.S.-market Pyrex switched to tempered soda-lime glass in the 1990s, while borosilicate remains in the European line. Supreme released co-branded Pyrex measuring cups and mixing bowls.
