Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The SOG MacV Tool is a 12-function stainless steel keychain multi-tool shaped like the skull insignia of MACV-SOG, the Vietnam-era special operations unit the company is named after. SOG Specialty Knives was founded in 1986 by Spencer Frazer and began by recreating the bowie knife issued to those operators. The MacV packs a pry bar, bottle opener, line cutter, blade sharpener, four hex wrenches, and three screwdriver bits into a 2.5-inch body; it retails for around $20.
About SOG
SOG Specialty Knives is an American knife and multi-tool manufacturer founded in 1986 by Spencer and Gloria Frazer in Santa Monica, California. Frazer, a UCLA-trained designer, launched the company from his apartment with the S1 Bowie, a reproduction of the knife carried by the Military Assistance Command, Vietnam Studies and Observations Group (MACV-SOG) — the unit the company is named for. SOG's product range covers fixed-blade and folding knives, the PowerLock and PowerAssist multi-tools, and tactical hatchets, sold to military, law enforcement, and outdoor markets. Supreme released a co-branded SOG Trident folding knife for Spring/Summer 2017.
