Supreme x Wiffle Sport Bat and Ball
Supreme vs. Original

Supreme version

About the original
The Wiffle Ball is a hollow, lightweight plastic baseball with eight oblong perforations on one hemisphere, invented by David N. Mullany in Fairfield, Connecticut in 1953. The asymmetrical hole pattern causes drastic, pitcher-controlled curves with minimal effort, letting backyard players throw major-league-style breaking pitches at age ten. The paired yellow plastic bat is a lightweight, full-length stick designed for use without gloves or a field. The Mullany family still owns Wiffle Ball, Inc. and manufactures both items in Shelton, Connecticut, on the same molds; the product specification has not changed since introduction. The SS15 Supreme version is a co-branded ball and bat set.
About Wiffle
The Wiffle Ball, Inc. is an American toy manufacturer founded in 1953 by David N. Mullany in Fairfield, Connecticut, and now based in Shelton. Mullany designed the perforated plastic ball for his twelve-year-old son after noticing that backyard pitchers were throwing curveballs with broken tennis balls. The eight oblong holes on one hemisphere let a pitcher throw sliders and curves without straining the arm. The ball and yellow plastic bat have been produced from the same Connecticut factory for over seventy years, still run by the Mullany family. Supreme collaborated with Wiffle on Box Logo ball and bat sets.
